An answer to some questions of style:


Questions are a tool to get at the perspective of the character. At this point the assignment is to find and develop the characters that you would like to see represented on stage. In it's purist form, the method is to record an interview with some one, and then through editing, distilling out the most interesting experiences, anecdotes, and phrases in pursuit of character portrayal.

The idea is that a story-line will emerge by the juxtaposition of characters on stage, it may not necessarily be what we expect.

All action will be in the same set- which will be a representation of " the street." It may include seating of some sort- bench and/or cafe table. the potential dialogs that may develop will be to move some action forward- and developed by collaboration later- As an experiment in collaborative script development. This will become the creative part of the process.
